Our staffs recognise the need for privacy and independence, while our homes are designed to enable activity, interaction and relaxation. Our homes are thriving communities and enjoy strong relationships with the local communities which they serve.

We encourage residents and their families to form committees to help in the running of the our homes and Avery programmes such as Aries, Optimise and Connect have hard wired processes into our company that in an organisational sense, put the resident right at the centre of our business and decision making. Aries, for example, is a programme that equips families and friends with the knowledge to manage dementia and is freely available to anyone who has a resident at one of our care homes offering dementia care. Dining at an Avery home is comparable to a restaurant experience and the food nutrionally balanced, with meal times an important element in the life of all our homes.

Across all Avery care homes, many of our residents initially come to us with short term, respite care requirements but many choose to make their stays permanent, appreciating as they do the quality of care and unique atmosphere which are a hallmark of all Avery care homes.
